We had a blast with the soloists who performed this past weekend. Part of the fun of competition season is the push to make every performance better than the last, so for those of you who competed this past weekend, and even those of you who didn’t, we have a challenge for you!

The big news this month is a change to our Christmas recital. We hate changing things this late in the game, but over Thanksgiving I thought a lot about better ways to keep our families safe during the recital and make sure no on gets quarantined over Christmas!

Our theme for August is to show up and show courage. It can be hard to start a new school year and we all feel a little less sure in the world right now. How are we asking dancers to show up and show courage this month?
Saturday we held a clinic for dancers working to get their aerial (cartwheel with no hands). There’s something extra fun about Saturdays at the studio. It was always my favorite as a kid growing up.
